The 33rd annual Assembly of the WCHA, is a 4-day gathering of members, family and friends to celebrate and enjoy the use of wooden canoes.

The public is welcome to view and participate.

We expect 400 members and over 300 canoes to be on display.

One canoe maker is 'featured' each year. For 2012 it is the Old Town Canoe Company.

The 2012 WCHA Assembly is packed with fun things to do! Everything from canoe construction and restoration, to paddling and woodcraft skills, to presentations about canoe and canoeing history is available to choose from. There is a full program for kids of all ages as well – families are welcome and encouraged to attend! Vendors will be set up in Cedar City, and the WCHA Sales Tent will be stocked with Assembly T-shirts and pins, and other great WCHA merchandise. Learn more about the
