The Shuswap & Sicamous, British Columbia's 3rd Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show is one of the northernmost shows in North America.   It is situated in the Columbia mountains in the town of Sicamous, BC, which is right along the Trans-Canada Highway and a day's drive from Banff National Park in Alberta or Vancouver, British Columbia.

Located in "Shuswap Country," this show is held on a 76,000 acre, pristine inland lake with four arms (Shuswap) that is a part of a system of 889 miles of shoreline, much of it still wilderness.  It is one of North America's most beautiful lake systems and provides easy access for pleasure boating. These crystal blue waters are fed by springs, and glaciers.  Backdropped by the Columbia mountains all around, the jet stream is unique here in that the weather is gloriously warm unlike most other areas across similar latitudes in Canada. The glacier-fed waters actually are quite warm in summer and make swimming, boating, and waterskiing a joy!

Your boat's bow will ply this waters with grace and you will experience what locals here understand so well---classic boating in British Columbia is simply incredible!

For photography buffs, it's a stunning location...bring your cameras!  Bring your golf clubs, too!  Hyde Mountain Golf Course is spectacular!

Our Boat Show's History:  In August of 2010 the Okanagan (Canada) chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society organized a rendezvous on "The Shuswap." In it's first year, aApproximately 14 boats participated in the 2-day gathering which included breakfast at Hyde Mountain Golf Course, lunch at the Shark Shack moored near Cinnamousun Narrows, and dinner at the lakefront home of Paul and Karen Harrison in Bastion Bay. The Shuswap and Mara Lake provided many miles of scenic cruising for the boaters during the two day event.

By 2011, (our 2nd year) the event had already tripled in size! More than 45 participants traveled from distances near and far with their classic boats to attend the event.  We expect even more in 2012!  Please consider joining us!
