A ground up, restoration including the Copper Bronze paint on natural wood ( not 5200) hull. Stripped to bare wood then sanded stained and carful application of 15 coats of varnish. We installed a completely rebuilt Chris Craft K 95 hp engine which has 1 hour break-in time only. Comes with a double axel trailer.

Boat was bought new by my Stepfather and transferred in my name to allow it to be used on the lake where we live until the Fall of 2001 when I started re-finishing the exterior and the interior.
Other than a marine company in Florida converting the electrical system from six volt to twelve volt, the Coast Gusrd requiring the original siren to be replaced with the current horn,trim tabs, hour meter and bilge pumps installed, the boat is original.
I have the original maintenance handbook for the Grey Marine Model 620/60hp engine,siren, an extra brass prop and a spare drive shaft. The engine turns freely,distributor fires and is in long term storage mode. |

It is a beautiful boat foll of teak and not really beat up, it comes on a tandem trailer built for it. the OMC outdrive works, I just had it tested. The 283cc in it needs rebuilt or drop in a 350. I woul love to see someone restore this classic, being the last year Slick Craft built boats beforing selling to AMF.Own a pc of history for near nothing. |
