So come and live life at the 7th Annual ACBS International Boat Show & Meeting
at beautiful Lake Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
LAKE HOPPING
Sunday: Drive to Priest Lake in Northern Idaho which is a little less than a two hour drive from the Spokane airport. Register at either Elkins Resort…www.elinsresort.com or Hills Resort…wwwhillsresort.com. If you come earlier than Sunday, only Hills will have accommodations. A welcoming Northwest Salmon dinner will be at Elkins Resort.
Monday: A full day of boating which includes viewing the northern part of the lake surrounded by the beautiful Selkirk Mountains and through a two mile natural thoroughfare on up to the very pristine upper Priest Lake. Then back to the main lake for a lunch on the beach. Spend the afternoon cruising down the lake and on over to Werner’s lake side cabin for a scrumptious BBQ and beach party.
Tuesday: In the morning cruise further down the lake exploring historic island cabins and on over to Hills Resort for a wonderful lunch and taking in a breath taking view of the Lake. In the afternoon we will pack up and drive down to Couer d’Alene. Put the boats in and tie up at your assigned spaces.
Wednesday: In the morning leave the dock and cruise down to the southern part of Lake Couer d’Alene to the quaint town of Harrison for lunch. From there we will cruise part way down one of two beautiful rivers. Late afternoon we will head back up the Lake to the Resort so we can get ready for the cocktail party at the Resort boat shop. This is one of the larger boat restoration shops in the country.
We encourage everyone who can bring a boat to please do so. For those of you bringing a boat, let us know if you can accommodate additional members in your boat and how many. We plan to have rides for everyone. In the registration packet that will be mailed to you, a map of directions to Priest Lake and then on to Couer d’Alene will be included.
**HELL’S CANYON
Monday: A chartered bus will transport you to Clarkston, Idaho. Stay overnight at a pre designated hotel.
Tuesday: Board the jet boat for a breathtaking trip down the Snake River through Hells Canyon. Besides seeing some gorgeous scenery you will be going through several class three and four rapids. This will be a full day boating adventure you will never forget. That evening you will return to Couer d’Alene.
A suggestion: For those of you who will be doing the Lake Hopping, but would also like to do a jet boat trip down Hell's Canyon, consider doing it on your own. Come in two days ahead of the lake Hopping or stay two days after the meeting. You can book your own jet boat tour. For more information contact Kent Wick at bkwick@moscow.com or phone him: 208-882-9943
** CHOICE OF TWO SEPARATE DAY TOURS:
Wednesday: A tour of one of the most famous silver mining districts in the world. You will venture into one of the mines. In the afternoon you will also have an intriguing tour of an actual bordello from the past. What an interesting day this will be!
OR…………….OR……………..OR
Wednesday: A bike trip over one of the historic passenger railroad beds turned into a gorgeous bike trail. The trail winds through nine cavernous tunnels and over seven high trestles, past waterfalls and ridge top vistas. This is truly one of the most spectacular bike trails in the country.

Thursday: If attending the ACBS annual meeting (which we encourage you to do) is not for you, consider boating on your own around beautiful Lake Couer d’Alene or doing the Spokane “Age of Elegance“ tour. You will see some gorgeous old mansions, several beautiful gardens, visit the Bing Crosby Museum and finish up at a wine tasting room.
