The much traveled 1929 Hickman Sea Sled arrived in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, site of the ACBS International Meeting after making its way through a dozen boat shows around the US and Canada. Along its way $21,600 in raffle tickets were sold; the proceeds will benefit the ACBS Endowed Scholarship Fund. We wish to thank past president Tom Flood and Stan Peterson for their work on the Fund’s behalf, and especially Lindsey Hopkins III for his generous donation of the Sea Sled. Congratulations to the winners Dan and Janet Workman. By successfully providing for resources like the Endowed Scholarship Fund, the future of tomorrow’s classic boats looks a little brighter today.
