Is this your
last issue of the Rudder?
The Holidays have
quickly passed and it is time to think about new beginnings.
Membership renewals
were mailed the first week in November. Reminders will be mailed this month if
we did not receive your dues. Please have your payments to Headquarters by
February 1, 2004 to keep your membership current.
Chapter Officers
should check that your chapter has corresponded with Headquarters your 2004 list
of officers. We are unable to communicate and include your chapter with new
information if we are not current. If you are a new Chapter President this year,
please make sure you received the President’s handbook from your immediate Past
President. The handbook is also available on our web site in the member’s only
section for any member. January is also the month we look for the health of the
Chapter reports. This is not a lengthy report, but information that should be
shared with your entire chapter membership as well as International.
Please note that our
symposium committee has postponed the dates until April 2005 due to
renovations/repairs at the Mariners Museum in VA. Roger Smith is working
diligently on the agenda and workshops. Please contact Roger if you have
specific interests or questions.
Quarterly meetings are open to all membership. Please check the International events section of the the Calendar of Events for the 2004 dates for International Meetings.
