Here you’ll find viewer contributions of beautiful antique and classic boats. Every vintage boat and event tells a story.

ACBS offers a “Most Original Award” to Chapters to use for their boat show.  The Award is to be used to honor a boat that has been primarily preserved as it was originally manufactured.  Here are the chapter winners for 2016. (Hover over the picture to see its caption.)

Sportin’ A Woody is Blackhawk’s 2016 Featured Boat. Sportin’ A Woody is a 1959 18′ Chris Craft Continental, Hull # CL18-0825. This classic was shipped from Cadillac, Michigan on July 31, 1959, to Mairs Marine in Minocqua, Wisconsin. After more than 30 years, she was then put up for sale in 2001. When we saw her, we knew this was a special boat as it was ALL original and still is. Now, Sportin’ A Woody has 260 hours on the engine with most of those hours being put on going to our Geneva Lake shows and some evening cruising on those perfect nights. We enjoy participating in the shows and being ACBS members. Nick & JoAnn Caselli
